How to book
Booking a voyage on ‘Maybe’ is easy. Please check our Voyage Programme which shows all available voyage dates. Please note the voyage programme is subject to change as the season progresses.

Payments
We ask for payment of our voyages as follows:
- A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the full fee is required to secure the booking, afterwhich an email confirmation will be sent.
- The remainder of the outstanding payment must be paid no less than two months prior to departure.
- For day sails the full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
If a voyage is booked less than two months before the departure date, the entire fee is required immediately before confirmation will be sent. If final payment is not received on time, the booking may be deemed cancelled and Maybe Sailing reserves the right to resell the booking.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card (card transactions incur a 3% admin fee) or normally by bank transfer.

Please be sure that ALL bank charges are paid, we require the full transferred amount.
The full voyage price includes berth, meals and soft drinks (excluding fizzy drinks) on board but does not include travel to or from ports or Departure Tax.
Insurance
Maybe Sailing assumes responsibility for members of trainee crew only when sailing on board ‘Maybe’ or tender and holds insurance to cover Maybe Sailing's legal liability in the event of injury or mishaps only during these periods. In this respect we insist that trainee crew members take out personal travel insurance cover to meet any medical needs, for loss or damage to personal property and when off the vessel.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellation the deposit payment is non-refundable. If having booked, the trainee crew member is unable to take part in the voyage for any reason whatsoever, they must ensure that Maybe Sailing is notified at once and must ensure cancellation is confirmed in writing. If a cancellation is made within 2 months of the voyage and after the balance has been paid it is at the discretion of Maybe Sailing the amount of refund which will be made. Absolutley no refund can be made if the cancellation is made less than 1 month before the voyage booked.
Please note for day sails the full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance to cover such costs.
Maybe Sailing reserve the right to curtail or cancel any voyage for operational reasons. In that event all outstanding fees will be refunded pro-rata unless alternative dates are acceptable to the customer, but Maybe Sailing shall not be liable for any other sum by way of compensation.
Participation
Maybe Sailing voyages are a participatory activity and all customers (including volunteers and trainees) will be expected to play a full part in all aspects of the vessels operation including: cooking, washing-up, cleaning, shopping etc.
Skippers Authority
Maybe Sailing's skipper is wholly responsible for the safe passage and conduct of our vessel and people on board. Everyone MUST comply with ALL instructions issued by the skipper and his crew concerning safety and conduct aboard the vessel. Failure to comply will result in the non-compliant person being disembarked at the earliest opportunity without compensation of refund and the person's onward travel costs will be the responsibility of themselves.
Alcohol and Drugs
Maybe Sailing does not permit drinking alcohol during voyages and has a zero-tolerance policy on illegal drugs.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted onboard.

Extended report on the adventures of Maybe as she took part in the Tall Ships Races 2011. Read of her travels sailing through Waterford, Greenoch, the Orkney Islands, LamLash, Tobermory, Stornoway, Scarpa Flow, Lerwick, Kvitsoy, Halmstad and many other places.
Maybe sailed from Greenock to Oban last week, stopping off at the Isles of Arran and Gigha and travelling through the Corryvreckan! All the crew enjoyed this short journey as they took in some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK. The west coast of Scotland is breathtaking for the landscape and abundant wildlife.
‘Maybe’ sails from Hartlepool up the East coast of England and Scotland, across the Caledonian Canal and across the West coast of Scotland to Greenock during August and September 2011.
