On a sailing voyage we never use the word itinerary, as skippers will always be aiming for the best sailing and shore landings for the forecast and most idyllic or sheltered anchors and ports. They are as keen as you to include some of the highlights describe, but you have to go with Mother Nature, not fight her. The description below is based on what we think might be possible, based on past trips, or experience, but nothing is guaranteed on a sailing voyage. If the following voyage description is not fulfilled for any reason, Maybe Sailing and Maybe Sailing Youth Initiative cannot be held responsible.
Learn to handle a tall ship as you sail with the crew of Blue Clipper from Plymouth to La Rochelle.

The Grand Pavois La Rochelle, the main event for sailing fans!
Created in 1973, the Grand Pavois La Rochelle has become one of the major events in the international boat show calendar as it has seen the number of exhibitors attending multiplied by 20 and visitor numbers 30-fol to make the Grand Pavois one of the largest international in-water boat shows. 10,000 square metres of exhibition space, themed areas catering to special interests, 750 boats on show including 300 in the water, over 800 international brands …
Due to the varied and multi-disciplinary nature of the fair, many small boat companies choose The Grand Pavois as their annual fair. Each year, a seafaring country or region is the guest of honour.
There are also themed areas for all the visitors. As a major event for all boat fans, The Great Bulwark offers a unique opportunity to try out sea boats before buying them. The Great Bulwark is one of the biggest international floating nautical fairs.
