Join Blue Clipper for this Iberian adventure and for some last minute sunshine! Embarking in A Coruna, we set sail along the coast of Galicia. This area of Spain boasts amazing scenery, fantastic food and great cultural heritage. We will anchor in the Ria de Muros and Ria de Vigo; visit the Atlantic Islands, witnessing first hand some of the gems of Galicia before making our way to Cascais.
Be sure to spend some time in Lisbon before you head home and explore this amazing city.

Life on a sailing voyage
On a sailing voyage we never use the word itinerary, as skippers will always be aiming for the best sailing and shore landings for the forecast and most idyllic or sheltered anchors and ports. They are as keen as you to include some of the highlights describe, but you have to go with Mother Nature, not fight her. The description below is based on what we think might be possible, based on past trips, or experience, but nothing is guaranteed on a sailing voyage. If the following voyage description is not fulfilled for any reason, Maybe Sailing and Maybe Sailing Youth Initiative cannot be held responsible.
Your sailing voyage will start in the bustling town of La Coruna and end in Cascais, a port just outside Lisbon.
This 7 day sailing adventure will give you plenty of time to explore the mesmerising coast of Galicia. You will have the chance to see the colourful small fishing villages hidden at the head of these spectacular Rias.
There are 2 main areas to the Spanish Rias, the Rias Altas in the North and the Rias Bajas in the south. They are separated by Cape Finisterre – a headland with a fierce reputation in bad weather but with hidden beauty.
The Ria de Vigo ranks among the most sublime natural harbours in the world. Here you will visit the Atlantic Islands National Park and anchor off the beautiful islands of deserted white sand beaches.
Leaving Spain we’ll set sail from the Ria De Vigo towards Cascais, Portugal.

Embark Travel Information
Seville, Spain
The airport is ten kilometres north of the city, close to the A-4 motorway. Seville has flights from Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao and Valencia, but there are also numerous flights to European cities such as London, Paris, Rome, Milan and so on. When going from the airport to the city centre, visitors can opt for a taxi or take a special bus service, connecting the Plaza de Armas in the centre of the city with the airport, stopping off at places such as the Santa Justa train and AVE station. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes. A one-way ticket costs €4 and a return ticket €6.
Seville has been served by the high-speed train (AVE) since 1992. These trains offer some twenty daily services (in each direction) between Seville and Madrid, with a maximum journey time of around two and a half hours. The AVE also connects with Barcelona, by way of Zaragoza, in around five and a half hours, and with Valencia in a little less than four hours
There are two bus and coach stations in the city. The main one is on Plaza de Armas, with numerous daily national and international services. The Prado de San Sebastián bus station operates scheduled regional services.

Cascais is a traditional and charming Portuguese fishing town, which is situated on the beautiful Lisbon coastline.
The main airport of central Portugal is Lisbon airport, and this is situated 35km to the east of Cascais. There is reliable and inexpensive public transport connecting Lisbon airport to Cascais
