Maybe Sailing's Voyage Programme 2013
When you sail aboard Maybe, you embark on an adventure of a lifetime! So cast off your bowlines, ready the main and set sail for your horizon on TALL SHIP MAYBE.
Tall Ships and historic traditional sailing vessels such as Maybe are working examples of history which provide a wealth of inspiration and knowledge to share with people of all ages. During our voyages, it is our aim to encourage learning and to facilitate a relationship with sailing and the sea as well as developing self-awareness, leadership and a sense of community whilst aboard.
No previous experience is necessary; it is Maybe Sailing's goal to provide people with an unforgettable experience where they can meet new people, learn to sail and have fun! Maybe was built in Holland in 1933 for round-the-world cruising, she took part in the first Tall Ships Race in 1956 and has sailed extensively in the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean, Baltic and North Seas. She was completely restored in 2007 and returned to Tall Ships Racing in 2009. Maybe has competed in each subsequent Tall Ships Race
Series achieving numerous race honours.

We will offering places on Maybe as she sails around several ports in Holland. She will leave Hull and then sail on to the Ijsselmeer which is a large artificial inland sea. Maybe will then visit the Frisian Islands calling at Enkhuizen (Ijsselmeer), Oudeschild (on the island of Texel), Harlingen, West-Terschelling and Makkum. The ports selected will depoend on the weather and tide height. So what are you waiting for, come take part in our Dutch tour!
