Maybe Sailing Traineeship

Are you interested in a career working on traditional sailing vessels?

Do you want to learn more about life on board a traditional sailing vessel?

Then the Maybe Sailing Traineeship might be the experience you have been looking for.

It is a requirement of the traineeship to hold a current ENG1 or ML5 Medical and be over the age of 18.

Be fully immersed into life as a crew member on board one of our traditional sailing vessels. Whilst on board you will learn every aspect of working and living on board a traditional sailing vessel. During your traineeship you will be assigned different roles, allowing you to truly experience every aspect of sailing and living on board.

These roles include:

• Deck hand
• Bosun’s assistant
• Cooks assistant
• Engineers assistant

• Discover the world while you learn
• Spend up to 63 days on a classic Tall Ship
• Learn about all aspects of sailing and living on board a traditional sailing ship

This is a voyage of discovery. Not only will you discover everything you need to know about sailing and living on board a traditional sailing vessel ….you will discover a great deal about yourself.

What is included:

• All meals on board Blue Clipper
• Refreshments throughout the day
• Use of safety equipment
• Accommodation
• All instruction and lectures on board by fully qualified crew

What is not included:

• Travel to and from the boat
• Personal travel insurance
• Soft drinks
• Any shore excursions and meals on shore (unless otherwise stated)
• Visa Fees
