Life on a sailing voyage

On a sailing voyage we never use the word itinerary, as skippers will always be aiming for the best sailing and shore landings for the forecast and most idyllic or sheltered anchors and ports. They are as keen as you to include some of the highlights describe, but you have to go with Mother Nature, not fight her. The description below is based on what we think might be possible, based on past trips, or experience, but nothing is guaranteed on a sailing voyage. If the following voyage description is not fulfilled for any reason, Maybe Sailing and Maybe Sailing Youth Initiative cannot be held responsible.

Set sail on an unforgettable Caribbean adventure from Guadeloupe to the wild and beautiful island of Dominica, before returning to Guadeloupe. This voyage offers a perfect blend of hands-on sailing, stunning scenery, and island exploration.

Departing from Guadeloupe, you’ll head south across crystal-clear waters, taking an active role in sailing the vessel alongside our experienced crew. Whether you’re completely new to sailing or looking to build your skills, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved.

Dominica, often called the “Nature Island” of the Caribbean, is a true highlight of the voyage. Expect lush rainforests, dramatic volcanic landscapes, waterfalls, and the chance to explore ashore from jungle hikes to natural hot springs.

The return leg to Guadeloupe offers more time at sea to develop your sailing confidence, enjoy life on board, and take in the beauty of the Caribbean from a unique perspective.

• All meals on board Blue Clipper – including daily breakfast, lunch and evening meal
